Camping Tips are Subjective
Camping tips are nothing more than advice. They are not rules and not only does it usually differ from one experienced camper to another some may not apply to your situation. Different possible situations during camping leads to different ways of handling things.
This is not to say that camping tips are useless. There are many ways of doing things and there are always easier and better ways of doing things. Camping tips may prevent you from making mistakes that could put you in danger.
Camping Checklist
The most important camping tips are the ones that are for your preparation for camping. Camping checklists or camping lists are critical to your success in camping. The camping list needs to be complete for different situations and different types of camping.
It is not necessary to have everything on the list but the list still needs to be complete so you don’t miss anything important. Even experienced campers who have been camping for a few decades still refer to camping checklists.
Hiking Boots | Shoes
Camping tips on footwear is also important especially if you are going hiking. You can almost use any type of footwear you want if you are camping on campgrounds.
For hiking, your boots need to protect your foot, repel water, breathe to some degree, provide safe traction, support your foot under unusually heavy load and does not impede your foot’s natural walking movements.
Hiking “experts” may recommend you a type of hiking boot that’s best for you but at best they are only making predictions on which hiking boots could be good for you based on what works for them. Your foot’s movements during walking are unique and only ‘they’ can determine which hiking boots are suitable.
The main goal of fitting the hiking boot to your foot’s movement is to prevent blisters in this case. This is where camping tips which hiking boot to choose should not be taken to heart even though some hiking boots are well suited for many people with different foot movements. Camping tips on preventing these blisters can be independent of the chosen hiking boots like using extra padding or cushioning on the areas of the foot which are likely to get blisters but the areas likely to get you blisters are partly determined by the camping boot itself.
Other Camping Tips
You should also seek camping tips on backpacks and packing. Determine how much you will be able to carry and which type of backpack you will use. There are plenty of camping tips on which backpack to use. The important thing is that they can protect your load from getting wet. Packing your backpack can have an impact on how heavy the backpack feels.
There are a lot of useful camping tips on food and drink: How much food and drink should you carry? What kinds of food should you bring? Are there any recommended camping recipes? How about specialized camping food? How often should you drink? Where must you not store your food?
If you’re hiking in the woods you are likely to have encounters with wild animals, particularly bears if you’re hiking in North America. One of the favorite camping tips among experienced hikers is to have a walking stick with you when you go hiking and warding of wild animals is one of its many uses. Never bending down is another good tip when you encounter wild animals especially lions because bending down makes you a smaller target.
When it comes to camping safety these camping tips become really important so before you go on a camping trip, look for some camping tips or do your research and read some books on camping.

I love camping! I remember before I used to do camping with my friends and cousins..it was really fun and exciting! plus we get to experience how it is to survive in the wilds. BTW, thanks for the great tips on camping!
Love the outdoors... and some very sound advice oc camping out in this article.
Good info here. I'll add that when packing a backpack that has a waistbelt (which most packs designed for backpacking should) try to pack the bag so that the majority of the weight is "carried" by your hips versus your shoulders. And, if you buy some fancy new boots for your next adventure, make sure you break them in before hitting the trails - nothing ruins a great backcountry adventure like blisters.
Great tips for making your next hiking or camping trip safe and enjoyable.
I always love camping! Thanks for this cool info :)
I am a great camping lover. I really enjoyed reading this stuff. I got some great valuable information from it. Thanks hub.
Great hub, Jonsky. When we were kids we used to go camping at least once a year. And I was in the Girl Scouts so I went to camp and we had to build our own latrines (yuk). When I was a teenager I went on a camping trip for 9 weeks around Europe. Taking down wet tents and putting them up again in the mud; cold showers and on it went. It was enough for me. I've never camped since - and that was too many years ago than I care to remember. So anyway, these tips were great. Maybe, just maybe, I'll try camping again some day soon!
Some tips for hiking in Africa is to keep your wits about you. Get a good tent you do not want any leopards visiting you at night.
