I have a passion for hiking and camping gear simply because I think they're the coolest things you can have. Some people might have an interest in camping gear because they love camping but I happen to love camping because of camping gear. 

An internal frame backpack feels great on your back thanks to the genius of suspension systems, a down sleeping bag is warm and comfortable in winter (as long as you don't mind sleeping like a mummy), a cabin tent can be used for many occasions other than camping.

Outdoor gear may not be an everyday item for most of modern man but having them and knowing how to use them makes you feel like a real man. A man who can survive living in the outdoors away from the safety of home and modern life.
